What to bring in the suitcase
The coin
The official currency is the Convertible Mark (KM). (1Km=0.51 euros). There is no black market
for currencies.
Tips
As in the rest of the region, it is customary to tip in restaurants. Some restaurants already include 10% of the service in the bill, which is the appropriate percentage if you were satisfied with the service. Never leave a tip on the table, as it is not customary and anyone could appropriate it.
Water
You can drink tap water in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The credit cards
In Bosnia there are problems as soon as you leave the tourist centers, they do not admit it in most places. Cash is recommended
The Passport
The border authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina allow Spanish citizens traveling with ID or passport to enter without a visa, for a stay of up to 90 days.
The passport or DNI must be valid for more than 90 days from the scheduled departure date (it must not expire within 90 days of the scheduled departure date).
Medical services
Before starting the trip, it is recommended to take out medical insurance that covers hospitalization expenses due to accident or sudden illness, as well as repatriation by medicalized plane.
It is convenient to consume products that are packaged and check the expiration date. It is recommended to avoid the consumption of raw dairy products and their derivatives.
Medical facilities outside of Sarajevo are often poor. It is advisable to bring with you the medicines that the traveler needs in Spain.
It is important to bring medical insurance.
Language
The official languages are Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian. English is relatively widespread.

You can travel throughout the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina in good security conditions, although without forgetting that it is a country in which part of its population goes through difficult economic and social circumstances.
On the other hand, it should be kept in mind that many areas, especially those that were the line of fire during the war, continue to be mined
For this reason, it is recommended not to abandon the roads and busy paths because, although most of the areas that have not yet been cleared are marked, there are still some parts of the country that are not marked.
